Dampak Latihan Sprint Interval Training Selama 8 Minggu terhadap Peningkatan Kapasitas Aerobik Maksimal

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat dampak dari sprint interval training terhadap peningkatan kapasitas aerobik maksimal (VO2Max). One group pretest-posttest design diterapkan dalam penelitian ini dimana sejumlah 25 orang mahasiswa mengikuti serangkaian latihan sprint interval training selama 8 minggu dengan 3 sesi latihan di setiap minggunya. Berdasarkan hasil paired sample t-test, terdapat perbedaan rata-rata VO2Max (ml/kg/min) yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikan treatment selama 8 minggu (P<0.05). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa latihan sprint interval training selama 8 minggu memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan VO2Max.
