Pengaruh Ketebalan Karet Pemukul (Bet) Tenis Meja Terhadap Tumbukan Bola

Abstract

Pemukul atau bet dalam tenis meja merupakan perangkat yang sangat penting. Ketebalan lapisan bahan bet dapat mempengaruhi pantulan bola dan menentukan pola permainan seorang pemain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan pengaruh ketebalan karet pemukul (bet) tenis meja terhadap tumbukan bola. Penelitian dilakukan dengan eksperimen. Ketebalan lapisan karet divariasikan sebesar 1 mm, 2 mm dan 3 mm. Tinggi awal jatuh bola divariasikan sebesar 75 cm, 100 cm dan 125 cm. Bola yang digunakan memiliki berat 24 gram. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan 5 kali ulangan. Pengamatan dilakukan dengan kamera. Data kamera dianalisis menggunakan Kinovea 08.15 untuk mendapatkan tinggi pantulan. Data tinggi awal dan tinggi pantulan digunakan untuk mendapatkan nilai koefisien tumbukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh ketebalan karet terhadap tinggi pantulan dan koefisien tumbukan serta fenomena tumbukan yang terjadi.
