This study aims to determine the influence of socioeconomic and sociodemographic factors on student participation in badminton extracurricular activities at MTsN 1 Mojokerto. This study uses quantitative research with a correlational descriptive design. The subjects in this study were all students who participated in badminton extracurricular activities at MTsN 1 Mojokerto, totaling 34 students consisting of 20 males and 14 females. The instrument used was a questionnaire in the form of closed statements using a four-point Likert scale. Data analysis techniques involved several stages, including descriptive analysis, prerequisite testing, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study indicate that socioeconomic and sociodemographic factors influence student participation in badminton extracurricular activities. This can be proven by the results of the socioeconomic and sociodemographic variables obtaining a Sig. value of 0.000 < 0.05 and an F-count value of 19.343 > F-table of 3.30. These findings imply that schools need to develop inclusive policies that take into account students' socioeconomic backgrounds, such as providing sports equipment assistance for underprivileged students, adjusting training schedules, and increasing motivation through a personal approach from guidance counselors. Future researchers are advised to expand the research variables to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the factors that influence student participation in extracurricular sports activities in secondary education.
