Adopting a pre-experimental approach through a single group pretest-posttest design, the research involved 5 subjects with a history of knee trauma. Data collection was implemented using the Y-Balance test protocol which was administered before and after the intervention of a dynamic warm-up program that lasted for 8 weeks with a total of 16 sessions. Data analysis revealed a significant improvement in balance ability, marked by an increase in mean values from 47.9 at initial measurement to 73.4 at final measurement. Statistical testing through paired sample t-test yielded a p-value of 0.000 (p<0.05), confirming the significance of this difference and validating the hypothesis that dynamic warm-up plays an effective role in minimizing the possibility of knee injuries. Based on these findings, researchers recommend the integration of dynamic warm-up as a standard component in training routines to enhance performance and prevent knee injuries among PS Rimbo Ilir athletes.
2025-05-28T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Wisnu Hidayah, Ugi Nugraha, David Iqronihttps://jurnal.icjambi.id/index.php/sprinter/article/view/730Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Keterampilan Tendangan Sabit Pencak Silat Peserta Didik Fase C Melalui Model Problem Based Learning 2025-05-27T11:08:01+07:00Achmad Syayyadi23852013a003034.student@stkippgrisumenep.ac.idTaufik Rahmanopick_conk@stkippgrisumenep.ac.idWinda Nuraisyahwindanuraisyah@stkippgrisumenep.ac.id
This study aims to determine the achievement of learning outcomes for crescent kick skills in pencak silat through the application of the model.Problem Based Learningfor PHASE C students (grade 6)SDN Romben Rana 571, Dungkek District, Sumenep Regencyacademic year 2024–2025. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive nature, where data is collected through interviews with the principal, physical education teachers, and students, as well as direct observation during learning activities. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of traditional games in physical education contributes to strengthening students' character, especially in aspects of cooperation, sportsmanship, leadership, and responsibility. The Gobak Sodor game emphasizes team coordination and defensive strategies, while Bentengan trains courage and the ability to make decisions quickly. Although there are obstacles such as limited playing fields and students' understanding of the rules of the game, teachers are able to overcome these challenges by modifying the rules and strategies of the game. In addition, students show high enthusiasm for the implementation of this game in learning, because traditional games are considered more interesting and fun than conventional physical activities. Therefore, traditional games can be used as an alternative learning method in physical education that not only improves students' physical fitness but also strengthens important character values in life.
2025-06-09T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Nadia Elfarita, Achmad Suparto, Mohammad Hasan Basrihttps://jurnal.icjambi.id/index.php/sprinter/article/view/744Analisis Minat Siswa SMA Negeri 6 Kota Jambi terhadap Olahraga Renang 2025-06-09T14:40:57+07:00Tamara Honestitamarahonesty08@gmail.comSri Murniatisri.murniati@unja.ac.idDavid Iqronidavidiqroni@unja.ac.id
This research was motivated by the limited participation of students at SMA Negeri 6 Jambi City in swimming activities, despite the school's previous achievements in this sport. Utilizing a quantitative descriptive method with total population sampling, the Russell-Lange Volleyball Service Test was administered. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and presented in tables, diagrams, and categories. Results revealed varied service abilities. Individual scores ranged from 18 to 35, with an average of 26.23 and a standard deviation of 5.15. Categorically, most participants (36.4%) fell into the 'Moderate' category, followed by 'Poor' (27.3%), 'Good' (22.7%), 'Very Poor' (9.1%), and only one student (4.5%) in 'Very Good'. This suggests that while most participants have basic understanding, optimal proficiency is lacking, indicating significant room for improvement. In conclusion, service skills at SMPI Nashirul Ummah are predominantly "Moderate" and "Poor". The observed variation underscores the need for tailored training programs. These programs should address physical (strength, coordination, balance) , technical (toss, arm swing, contact, follow-through, consistency) , and psychological aspects (concentration, self-confidence). The findings serve as a guide for designing effective interventions to enhance service skills and maximize athletic performance.
2025-07-03T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Agung Rudianto, Reo Prasetiyo Herpandika, Budiman Agung Pratamahttps://jurnal.icjambi.id/index.php/sprinter/article/view/763Persepsi Pemain dan Pelatih terhadap Peran Futsal dalam Mengembangkan Kemampuan Pengambilan Keputusan Pemain Sepakbola Wanita 2025-07-01T11:50:46+07:00Muhamad Hanif Ramadhanmuhamadhaniframadhan@unsil.ac.idMustika Fitrimuhamadhaniframadhan@unsil.ac.idTian Kurniawanmuhamadhaniframadhan@unsil.ac.idFariha Nilanmuhamadhaniframadhan@unsil.ac.idNevitaningrummuhamadhaniframadhan@unsil.ac.id
The purpose of this study is to find out whether futsal can help female football players become better at making decisions in the game. The subjects of this study were 13 athletes aged 16-19 years consisting of 8 men and 5 women. This research technique uses quantitative correlation method with data analysis method in the form of Pearson correlation test. The research findings showed a significant inverse relationship between anxiety and athlete achievement (r = -0.644; p = 0.018), which means the more anxious an athlete is, the less able to achieve maximum results. On the other hand, there is a strong positive correlation between sport motivation and achievement results (r = 0.606; p = 0.028). That is, the greater one's influence on sport, the greater the success. These consequences highlight the importance of maintaining psychological elements, especially anxiety control and increasing athletes' sport motivation, with the aim of improving the overall performance of pencak silat athletes. Athletics, known as the "mother of all sports," trains essential basic movements like running, jumping, and throwing, which are fundamental for various physical activities. This study aims to analyze the interest of elementary school students in Kids Athletics in SDN 4 Yosomulyo. A quantitative descriptive method was employed , with a total of 75 students from grades IV, V, and VI serving as the sample. The instrument used was a Likert scale questionnaire, which was tested for validity and reliability, yielding a reliability coefficient of 0.839. The research findings indicate that students' interest in Kids Athletics is in the high category. This interest is strongly driven by intrinsic factors, particularly the students' sense of enjoyment and desire to participate. Nevertheless, extrinsic factors such as family support and facility availability also contribute positively. Specific events like Sprint Hurdles and Slalom (Formula 1) and Sprint Hurdles (Kanga's Escape) were identified as the most popular among students. The study concludes that elementary school students' interest in Kids Athletics is highly positive, primarily fueled by intrinsic factors, but the roles of school and community in supporting this interest still require optimization.
2025-07-14T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Galih Farhanto, Pupud Pury Pangesti, Donny Setiawan, Puji Setyaningsihhttps://jurnal.icjambi.id/index.php/sprinter/article/view/784 Analisis Cedera Engkel pada Atlet Sepakbola2025-07-10T08:28:18+07:00Muhammad Khapijojonathan944@gmail.comMashudmashud@ulm.ac.idRamadhan Arifin ramadhan.arifin@ulm.ac.id
This research aims to describe quantitatively and qualitatively the types, frequency, causes, and handling of sports injuries in PS Kab Tapin football athletes. The research method used is a survey with multiple-choice questionnaires and open-ended questions distributed to 20 athletes, as well as structured interviews with 10 athletes who have a history of ankle injuries. Quantitative data are analyzed descriptively, while qualitative data are analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that all athletes (100%) have experienced injuries, with ankle injuries being the most common type (50%). The main factors causing injuries are collisions with other players (35%) and misstep when landing (30%). Injury management is most often carried out by the club's medical team (80%), and the dominant injury prevention is primary prevention (95%). In-depth interviews reveal that ankle injuries often occur due to match activities, with symptoms of pain, swelling, and bruising. The initial management applied by the majority of athletes is the RICE method (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) and consultation with a physiotherapist. The forehand smash technique is an important component in table tennis that requires good movement coordination, proper body position, and accurate arm swing. However, initial observations showed that many students had difficulty in mastering this technique optimally. A quantitative approach was applied in this study, using a pre-experimental design as its main framework, a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 25 students selected through a saturated sampling technique. The data collection instrument was a practical test with assessment aspects including body position, arm swing, shot accuracy, and coordination. The results of data analysis showed an increase in the average score from 46.6 in the pretest to 64.6 in the posttest. Hypothesis testing using the paired sample t-test method produced a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating that shadow training had a significant impact on improving the basic technique of forehand smash. Thus, shadow training has been proven effective in improving students' basic table tennis skills, especially in terms of forehand smash, and is recommended as an alternative learning method in physical education.
2025-08-11T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Mahfuz, Hariadi, Riskika Agus Tiawan, Zaenul Arkanuddinhttps://jurnal.icjambi.id/index.php/sprinter/article/view/810Analisis Tingkat Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) dan Kondisi Fisik Pemain Futsal Putra SMAN 1 Torjun 2025-08-09T08:34:46+07:00Jailanialimuchid@gmail.comHeni Yuli Handayanialimuchid@gmail.comSeptyaningrum Putri Purwotoalimuchid@gmail.com
Futsal as a sport also requires proper training to achieve success.
